The Life of John Henry
John E. Henry, 89, of Ansonia, entered into rest on Thursday August 16, 2007 at the V.A. Hospital in West Haven. He was devoted husband of Marjorie Purvis Henry. He was born in Meshoppen, PA on February 19, 1918, son of the late Ellis and Myrtle Henry and was a resident of Waterbury before moving to Ansonia eight years ago. Mr.Henry retired from the St. Margaret Marturin School after many years of employment. He was an Army veteran serving during World War II and loved to fish and camp. He was the beloved father of Robert Henry Sr. and his wife Judi, and Ruth Sirois and her husband Milton all of Ansonia. He is also survived by six loving grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his sister Arlene Fox. His funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Riverview Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
