The Life of Elizabeth Healey Scarpa
Elizabeth L. Scarpa, 85, of Ansonia, died on Sunday November 25, 2007 at Birmingham Health Care. She was the widow of Louis D. Scarpa. Born in Ansonia on May 29, 1922 daughter of the late Michael and Johanna Carey Healty. Survivors include a daughter JoAnn Skelly and her husband Jeff of Derby; two grandsons, Justin and Ryan Skelly. She was predeceased by five sisters, Mary Healy, Eleanor Hale, Marge O'Meara, Catherine Karg and Josephine "Babe" Graus; three brothers, John, Edward and William Healey. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday November 28, 2007 in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. The Bennett Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
