The Life of Lorraine Owen Mirabile
Lorraine Mirabile, 78, of Ansonia, wife of Angelo Mirabile, died Aug. 7, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital. Daughter of the late Charles and Tillie Metzler Owen, she was born Jan. 21, 1931 in Derby.
A resident of Ansonia for 51 years, Mrs. Mirabile had worked as a teacher at the Maple Street School (Anna LoPresti School) in Seymour for 10 years prior to devoting her time to raise her three daughters.
Besides her husband, survivors include three daughters, Suzanne Mirabile and Roseanne Mirabile of Ansonia and Lori Dorais of Woodbridge; a granddaughter Ashley Dorais of Woodbridge and several nieces and nephews. Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home Ansonia handled arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
