The Life of Viola Walsh Stevenson

Viola "Sue" Stevenson, a 92 year old resident of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest May 5, 2010. She was born March 20, 1918 in Derby, daughter of the late Robert and Mary Richardson Walsh. Sue worked as a laminator for B.F. Goodrich Co. of Shelton. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Ansonia, and Past Nobel Grand of the former Ellsworth Rebekah Lodge 9 and an avid UCONN women's basketball team fan. She is survived by her daughter Agnes Gallagher of Ansonia; two sons Robert C. Stevenson and his wife Gail of Georgetown, Fla. and William J. Stevenson and his wife Suzanne of Derby; her sister Gloria Bobbins of Seymour; 13 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 7 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Sue was predeceased by a daughter Carol Cyman; five sisters, Frances Anglace, Doris Wanciak, Shirley Cremonie, Nancy Hansen and Joyce Walsh and three brothers Robert, John and William Walsh. Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia
