The Life of Robert T. Rogers
Robert T. Rogers, 72, of Seymour, died peacefully Sunday November 8, 2009 at Connecticut Hospice surrounded by his family. He was the husband of Jean McWilliams Rogers. Born in New Bedford, MA, February 5, 1935, son of the late Frank and Irene Rogers. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a graduate of Bullard Haven Technical School and was employed as Millwright for Boise Cascade in Milford. He also was a veteran of teh U.S. Army. Survivors besides his wife, are Richard and Rena Kehrer and daughter Britany of Oxford, Jean and Robert Bowns and sons, Jimmy and Matthew Vartelas of Seymour, Lori and Larry Penrod and family Nicole, Michelle and Daniel Riviere and Larry and Kyle Penrod. Brother-in-law Al and Cathy McWilliams of Oxford, sister-in-law Helen and Robert Sicignano of Wallingford. Eight grandchildren and three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. The Bennett Funeral Home of Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
