The Life of Rudolph F. Sr. Forcier

Rudolph F. "Rudy" Forcier Sr., 71, husband to Carol Lomme Forcier of Ansonia, entered into eternal rest Monday April 6, 2009. He was born November 5, 1937 in Bridgeport, son of the late Rudolph and Laura Fortin Forcier. A graduate of Bassick High School in Bridgeport, Class of 1956, he worked for Charles J. Dickgiesser Company and Grassy Hill Lodge, both in Derby, for the former Teledyne Company in Ansonia, worked as a part-time crossing guard, and as a maintenance man for T.E.A.M. Rudy was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Church in Ansonia, where he was a member of the Men's Club and Bocce Club. In addition to his wife Carol, he leaves four sons, Rudolph "Rudy" Forcier Jr. of Derby, Mark Forcier and his wife, AnnMarie of Shelton, Charles "C.J." Forcier and his wife Lynn of Orange, and Michael Forcier and his wife Melissa of Framingham, MA. He leaves his sister Georgette Warren of Stratford; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Michael Jr., Paige, Hdale, Katie, Maeve, Michaela and Siobhan; as well as several nieces and nephews. Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
