The Life of Laurence David Schneider

Laurence "Larry" David Schneider, 61, beloved husband of Alice J. Brookins Schneider of Ansonia, died peacefully on April 30, 2010 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. Born in Bridgeport on December 30, 1948 he was the sone of the late George Schneider and Gloria Palazo Delbuono of Trumbull. Me. Schneider was a member of the Teamster's Union Local 1150 and worked in the shipping and receiving department of Sikorsky's Presidentail Program for more than 30 years until the time of his illness. He was a member of the Holy Rosary Church Bocce League, loved the outdoors and auto body repair. He was a perfectionist in his every endeavor. Mr. Schneider's true passion was spending quality time with his family. In addition to his mother, and his devoted wife of 20 years, he is survived by his cherished daughters, twins, Virginia A. and Rebecca S. Schneider and Heidi R. Schneider, all of Ansonia; brothers George (Carol) Schneider of Maryland; Wayne (Donna) Lonsdale of Ansonia, Jimmy (Cheryl) Schneider of Stratford, Billy Schneider of Florida and Frank Delbuono of Derby. Mr. Schneider is also survived by a son, David Schneider and two grandsons. Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, Ansonia handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia.
