The Life of Patricia Dufresne DeGenna DeMaro
Patricia L. DeMaro, 74, of Seymour, wife of Owney J. DeMaro Sr. died June 14, 2009 at home, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Joseph and Ethel Fregeau DuFresne, she was born July 17, 1934 in Waterbury. A resident of Seymour since 1975, Mrs. DeMaro worked for the Woodhaven Country Club in Bethany for many years and previously at the former Service Merchandise in Derby. Besides her husband, survivors include two daughters, Dani DeGennaro of Seymour and Deneed DeGennaro and her husband Jonathan White of New Haven; a brother Richard J. DuFresne of Hartford; two sister, Barbara J. Alcutt and her husband James of Ansonia and Joan Gittings of Dergy; gramddaughter Desiree DeGennaro of Symour; sister-in-law Loretta DuFresne of Monroe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her first husband Daniel DeGennaro and a brother Francis J. DuFresne. Spinelli-Ricciuti Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial is in Pine Grove Cemetery.
