The Life of Grace Nolan Ring

Grace Nolan Ring, 88, of Ansonia, died on Wednesday June 24, 2009 at Griffin Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of William H. Ring. Born in Stratford on October 19, 1920, daughter of the late John and Anna Peehan Nolan. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a graduate of St. Mary's Grammar School in 1934, Derby High School class of 1939 and Southern Connecticut St. College with a degree in Library Science. She was employed by Amity Regional High School as a secretary. She is survived by her two sons, Frederick W. Ring of Orange and William H. Ring of Roxbury; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a daughter, Sarah Munson and a brother John Nolan. Her funeral service will be held on Monday from the Church of the Assumption Ansonia. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
