The Life of Peter P. Danielczuk

Peter P. Danielczuk, 88, beloved husband of the late Ruth M. Woodside Danielczuk of Ansonia, peacefully entered into eternal rest on Febryuary 25, 2009 at the Griffin Hospital in Derbyt. Mr. Danielczuk was born in Ansonia on April 11, 1920, son of the late Peter and Helen Panov Danielczuk. A lifelong resident of Ansonia, he was employed at Spector Furniture in Ansonia for 64 years until his retirement. A proud veteran of World War II, he honorably served in the U.S. Army. He was a communicant of the St. Joseph's Church in Ansonia and a member of its former Catholic Men's Club. He was also a member of the Polish Falcons Nest 36 in Ansonia where he received the Bronze Legion of Honor Award, a member of the St. Sebastian Men's Club in Ansonia, and an avid loyal fan of Ansonia Chargers Football. He is survived by a loving and devoted son, Peter J. "Polka Pete" danielczuk and his wife Grazyna of Ansonia; a loving dauaghter Karen A. Danielczuk of Ansonia; a sister Gladys Cirillo of Seymour; and severral nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by a daughter-in-law Mary Ann DiStasio Danielczuk, brothers Walter and Casimir Danielczuk and sisters, Leona Josephson, Helen Dudginski and HJane Kuskowski. Spinelli-Malerba-Ricciuti Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia with military honors.
