The Life of Raymond Brown

Raymond Brown, 87, died Saturday February 4, 1995 at Griffin Hospital, Derby, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Marion Ireland Brown. Mr. Brown, son of the late Thomas and Marion Brown, was born in Ansonia November 4, 1907 and was a Naugatuck Valley resident for many years. He had worked as a tool and die maker for American Brass for 25 years. He was a member of George Washington Masonic Lodge 82, AF&AM, the First Congregational Church of Ansonia, and a life member of the Highland Golf Club where he had served on the board of governors and as greens chairman. Besides his wife, he leaves a nephew. He was predeceased by a brother, Robert Brown and a sister Lillian Hunt. In lieu of floers, memorial contributins may be made to the First Congregational Church, Ansonia.
