The Life of Nathaniel Warren Spaulding
Nathaniel Warren Spaulding, 78, husband of Agnes M. Vinton Spaulding of Ansonia died August 23, 1962 at Griffin Hospital after an illness of several weeks. He was born in Lincoln, R.I. April 11, 1884, sone of the late Nathaniel A. and Cora Aldridge Spaulding. Mr. Spaulding was employed at the Ansonia Manufacturing Co. from 1920 until his retirement in 1958. He was a member of the Immanuel Episcopal Church, Continental Lodge, AF and AM of Waterbury, Mt. Vernon Chapter RAM and Union Council R and SM of Ansonia and Eliza A. McCoy Court Order of Amaranth. Besides his wife he is survived by a daughter Elsie V. Hultin and her husband Goesta; a son N. Raymond Spaulding and his wife Virginia of Newport News, VA; a sister Alice Moore of Pawtucket, R.I. three grandchildren: Martha H. Smart and her husband Edward of Ansonia, N. Alan Spauding and Lynn Spaulding of Newport News, VA and a niece Marion Hanley and her husband William of Pawtucket, R.I. Wyatt-Jensen Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
