The Life of Doris Lassay Trembley

Doris Lassay Trembley, 76, of Ansonia died Tuesday February 23, 2010 at Griffin Hospital. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Trembley. Born in Derby on May 7, 1933, daughter of the late Hugh Lassay and Clotilda Zeppegno Lassay Segnatelli. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, a graduate of Wilber Cross High School class of 1950. A former employee of the Anaconda American Brass Co. in their business office and then 25 years as payroll administrator for the City of Ansonia retiring in 2003. She was a member of the Charter Hose Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary for 50 years and the Joseph A. Doyle Senior Center. Survivors are two daughters, Lynda Hylwa of Naugatuck and Carol Forleo and her husband Vin of Ansonia; two sons, Mark and Mureen Trembley of Hudson, N.H. and Scott and Lillian Trembley of Ansonia; a sister Paula Segnatelli of Woodbury; a brother Paul Segnatelli of Florida, 11 granschildren, Courtney, Lindsay, Eric, Kyle, Michael, Matthew, Vinny, Nicky, Joey, Carter and Colby and her caring fiend, Betty Windisch. She was predeceased by her stepfather, Paul Segnatelli and a sister Norma Porzio. Bennett Funeral Home Ansonia handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
