The Life of Frances H Taylor

Frances H. Taylor, 90, of Port Carbon, passed away Tuesday, Feb.16, 2021, at her residence.

Born Feb. 5, 1931, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late John J. and Hazel M. (Bohler) Ulmer.

Frances was a 1949 Pottsville Area High School graduate.

She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Pottsville, and recently attended Bethany Christian Fellowship Church, Cressona.

She loved to sew, enjoyed puzzles and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Taylor, and brothers, Carl and Thomas Ulmer.

She is survived by her son, Randy F. Taylor, husband of Lynne M.; daughter, Linda A. Taylor; grandchildren, Brandon M. Taylor, husband of Tasha L., and Christopher R. Taylor, fiance of Tiffany Meyer; great-grandchildren, Vivian R. Taylor and Sage A. Taylor; sister, Norma-Lee, wife of Bernard Morrissey; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 19, at Schlitzer Allen Pugh Funeral Home, 515 W. Market St., Pottsville. Pastor Dennis Snyder will be officiating. Family and friends may call from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. Private interment will be held in Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven.
