The Life of Ann Moroz Kruge

Ann Moroz Kruge, 91, wife of the late Anthony Kruge and a Southbury resident, passed away September 17, 2009 from the Lutheran Home of Southbury. She was born November 12, 1917 in Ansonia, daughter of the late Joseph and Helen Katchuk Moroz. She worked in quality control for the eletrical testing Dept. of the Vitramon Co. of Monroe. She was a lifelong member of the Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church in Ansonia. A former Ansonia resident, Ann was a Southbury resident for the last ten years and was previously a resident of Monroe for 40 years. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Sandra Pasternak. She is remembered by friends as a talented seamstress. She is survived by her son, Father Anthony Kruge, and her beloved daughter-in-law, Jennifer Kruge of Southbury; daughter Barbara McGuire and her husband John of Schenectady, N.Y.; sister-in-law, Nancy Moroz of Seymour; and brother-in-law Michael Kruge of Manhattan, N.Y.; and several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held from The Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church, Ansonia. Father Michael Roshak and Ann's son Frather Anthony will officiate. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetry, Ansonia. The Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements.
