The Life of Martha E Rosso

Martha E. Pamplin Rosso, 81, of Upper Darby, died March 8 at home.

Born in Clarksville, Ind., Mrs. Rosso was a secretary for the sociological department of the University of Pennsylvania for 25 years, retiring in the early 1990's. She also worked for the Honorable A. Leon Higginbothom, a federal judge in Philadelphia.

Mrs Rosso was a longtime member and recording secretary for Dickens Fellowship and editor of the "BuzFuz", the fellowships monthly newsletter.

She was the widow of Raymond D. Rosso and the daughter of the late William and Cora Pamplin.

Survivors: Sons, Douglass Rosso of Norwood, David Rosso of Drexel Hill, and Paul Rosso of Sewell, N.J.; brother, Charles Pamplin of New Albany, Ind.; sister Wilma Ell of Indianapolis, Ind.; 11 grandchildren; 11 greatgrandchildren.

Service: 11am Wednesday at the Funeral Home.

Visitation: 7-9pm at the Funeral Home.

Burial: Arlington Cemetery, Upper Darby.
