The Life of Anna Baslak

Anna Baslak, 84, of Shelton, died Monday September 24, 2007 at the Gardner Heights Health Care Center. Born in Seymour on December 20, 1922 she was the daughter of the late John and Pelagia Baslak. She was a longtime resident of Seymour, a member of the VFW Ladies Aux. of Seymour and lifelong member of Three Saints Russian Orthodox Church. Before retiring in 1978, Ms. Baslak worked as a machine opereator for the Chromium Process Co. of Shelton for many years. Survivors include sister, Mary Hanchak of Md; brothers Michael Baslak and his wife Rose of Ansonia and William Baslak of Beacon Falls, several nieces and nephews as well as many other great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by sisters, Pauline Johnson and Tatiana Uhoch. Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home Ansonia is entrusted with the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.
