The Life of Wilbur Miss James
Wilbur James, 87, of Helltop Health Center, passed away Wednesday December 12, 2007 in Milford Hospital after a brief illness. Born July 14, 1920 in Darlington, S.C. to the late James and Donella Johnson. Wilbur was employed and retired from Sargents Manufacturing Co. She was a membeer of Williams Memorial COGIC and later joined Greater Evangel Temple COGIC where she served as a church mother. She leaves behind a great friend and caregiver Mother Evenly Gandy; active caregiver Amy Johnson; and 24 cousins and numerous friends. A celebration of her life will be 11 A.M. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Greater Evangel Temple COGIC. Interment in Pine Grove Cemetery Ansonia. Services entrusted to Howard K. Hill Funeral Service, New Haven.
