The Life of Lottie Stebar Sazanow

Mrs. Lottie Estelle Stebar Sazanow, 91, previously of Ansonia, widow to Paul P. Sazanow, died Tuesday April 27, 2010 at the Presidentail Place in Florida. Born in Scranton, PA on July 6, 1918, she was the daughter of the late John and Josephine Kwiatkowski Stebar. She was an assembler for the BIC Pen Co. retiring in 1980. A communicant of the Church of the Assumption, she was a graduate of Seymour High School and a member of the Seymour and the Joseph A. Doyle Senior Center. Survivors include one daughter, Judith Chmiel of California; two sons, Paul P. Sazanow and Robert Sazanow of Florida; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson. She was predeceased by two sisters, Sophie Sobochinski and Helen Ritchie; six brothers, Henry, Joseph, Chester, Stanley, Bernie, Edward Stebar and a half brother Frank Stebar. Bennett Funeral Home handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
