The Life of Martha Zawodniak Madzik
Martha Madzik, 78, of Ansonia, beloved wife of the late Matthew Madzik, died April 29, 2010 at Griffin Hospital.Born in Bortne, Poland on May 28, 1931 she was the daughter of the late Melania Zawodniak. Mrs. Madzik was a long time resident of Ansonia, an avid gardener and a member of St. Nicholas Russian Orthodox Church, Stratford. She is survived by her devoted children, Mary Madzik of Manchester and John Madzik of Beacon Falls. Wakelee Memorial Funeral Home, Ansonia handled the arrangements. Burial in Pine Grove Cemetery, Ansonia.
