The Life of Rosemary Malloy
Rosemary D, Malloy, age 78, of Ansonia, widow of Edward F. Malloy, died on Monday, April 16, 2007 at Griffin Hospital. Born in Shamokin, PA on November 21, 1927, ddaughter of the late Kyran and rose Fiore Dormer. She was a ommunicant of the Church of Assumption. Survivors are two sons James (Geerri) Malloy of Ansonia and Edwawrd "Ted" (Susan) Malloy of Derby, a sister, Sister Rose Maureen S.C.of Yonkers, N.Y.; two brothers, Stephen Dormer of Shamokin, PA and Kyran Dormer of Hamilton Square, N.J.; two grandchilden, Ted Malloy of Derby and Caitlin Malloy of Ansonia; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons, kieran Malloy and John Malloy; a sister, Molly McKinney; an infant grandson, James Malloy. Her funeral service will be held on Thursday at 9 am from the Bennett Funeral Home, 91 North Cliff Street, Ansonia, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in the Church of the Assumption. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm. Donations may be made to the Assumption School or Hospice Home Care in care of the funeral home.
