The Life of Goesta Eskil Hultin

Goesta Eskil Hultin, 79, husband of Elsie Spaulding Hultin of Ansonia died Wednesday Nov. 4, 1987 at his home after a long illness. Born in Falkenburg, Sweden, July 15, 1908 son of Eskil and Arvida Hokanson Hultin, he was an Ansonia resident most of his life. Mr. Hultin was an engineer for 44 years with Farrel Co. until his retirement in 1973. He was a graduate of Ansonia High School Class of 1926 and Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY Class of 1933. He was a member and Past Master of George Washington Lodge, AF and AM; a member of Union Council, R and SM; Solomon Chapater Royal Arch Masons and Eliza A. McCoy Court of Amaranth; the Farrel Old Timers Club; Derby Senior Center, Trinity Lutheran Church and Prince Gustaf Lodge of VASA. Besides his wife, survivors include a daughter Martha Smart and her husband Edward of Ansonia and two grandchildren, Stacy and Craig Smart of Ansonia, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Harry Hultin and a sister Mabel H. Tomlinson. Jenkins-King Funeral Home of Ansonia handled the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
