The Life of Lee Goodman

Lee Goodman, 59, husband of Diane Castiglioni Goodman and resident of Derby, entered into eternal rest February 24, 2010 at Griffin Hospital after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born June 1, 1950 in New Haven, son of the late Cynthia Bugel Goodman and William R. Goodman Jr. A 1968 graduate of Masuk High School in Monroe, he earned a bachelor's degree in 1972 and a master's degree in 1976 from Fairfield University. He retired as a teach from the State of Connecticut for Bullard Havens Tech School, Platt Tech and Emmett O'Brien Tech. He was a parishioner, former senior warden and vestry member of the Church of Good Shepherd in Shelton and was a member and Past Master of the King Hiram Masonic Lodge #12 in Shelton. He was an avid fly fisherman and photographers as well as a big time Yankees and Giants fan. In addition to his wife Diane, he leaves his son Michael W. Goodman and his fiance Jennifer Caruso both of Derby, Linda R. Goodman and her fiance Howard Mills; his aunt Beverly Manlapaz of Brookfield and his beautiful dog Trooper. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Samuel and Eleanor Bugel. Jenkins King & Malerba Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery
