The Life of Ray Bell Cobean

  Ray Bell Cobean of Alexandria, Virginia passed away peacefully on December 18th 2020 at the age of 90.

Ray was a GW High School alumni, and won ASC Sportsman of the Year in 1988. He was the treasurer of the Sportsman's Club for almost 10 years in the late 1990's and early 2000's. Ray had a positive influence over the club and was a true gentleman and a leader who will be missed by all who knew him. 

Ray was predeceased by his loving wife Joan Gaye Cobean in 2017. He is survived by his children  Debra Rene Sartor, Denise Raye Miller, Ray B. Cobean, IV and many grandchildren.  

Interment will be held on Saturday, January 9th at 11 am at Ivy Hill Cemetery, King Street, Alexandria.
