The Life of David J. Knavish

Age 56, of Verona, passed away on Friday, November 27, 2020. Dave is survived by his sister Lisa Petrocelly and her husband Ken Petrocelly; his nephew Liam; niece Ophelia; and countless cousins and friends; also survived by his cats Wallace and Bob and dog Sadie. He was preceded in death by his parents Leonard “Bud” and Lois Knavish; his brother Arthur Knavish; his cat Stella and his dog Russell. Dave cared deeply about nature and was grateful to work where he could help others to have great outdoor experiences, while working alongside like-minded lovers of the natural world. He loved to learn and was always up for a philosophical conversation. Dave was also known to have eclectic musical tastes and possessed an extensive knowledge about music and bands. However, he was perhaps most known for his hilarious sense of humor and was a master of word usage and puns. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 3-8 p.m., at English Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 378 Maryland Ave., Oakmont, PA 15139. A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, December 4, 2020, at 10:30 a.m., in Penn Forest Natural Burial Park, 121 Colorado St., Verona, PA 15147. EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT THE CEMETERY.
