Edith Mae Thompson

Edith M. Thompson, 93, formally of Drexel Hill, went home to be with the Lord on November 16, 2020 at her daughter’s home in Boothwyn, PA.

Edith was born on December 28, 1926 in Philadelphia, PA.   She graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1945 and worked briefly at Frankford Arsenal before beginning her career as a Homemaker and Mother of four.

Edith was a born-again Christian and had a lifelong relationship with her savior, Jesus Christ.  Edith attended Aldan Union Church and enjoyed any opportunity to tell others about God’s love.

Edith is survived by her son James Thompson, her daughter and son-in-law Linda & James Abboud, 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Edith was preceded in death by her husband, William Thompson and her daughters, Nancy Palouian and Shirley Milano.

A private burial is planned at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill on November 21, 2020.
