The Life of Mrs. Paulette V. Pritchard

Missionary Paulette Victoria Pritchard, 69 of York transitioned from her earthly home early Friday morning November 6, 2020 at Colonial Manor Nursing and Rehab Home. Paulette was the daughter of the late Victoria Pritchard and her journey into life began on April 24, 1951 in Philadelphia, PA she was the mother of Lanse Jackson, the late Apostle Nate Pritchard and the late Alesia Layton. Paulette was a graduate of William Penn Senior High School, Class of 1969. Miss P or Mom P as she was affectionately known loved people and enjoyed working as a C.N.A. She worked for over 25 years at Rest Haven Nursing Home until her health no longer allowed her to do so. Paulette was a faithful member of Emmanuel Church of God in Christ where she received the Lord as her personal savior under the leadership of the late Elder Walter W. Wise. Paulette loved her church and her church family. She was a part of the Wise Chorus and she loved singing “Stir Up the Gift” and “It’s Me, It’s Me, It’s Me Oh Lord Standing in the need of prayer.” Paulette was a Woman of Prayer and did not mind praying for anyone who needed prayer; even at the nursing home she maintained her prayer ministry through the telephone. Paulette excepted her call into ministry as a Missionary and she gave her initial sermon “Chosen by God” on May 20, 2003, under the leadership of Elder Leighton McMillan. Her famous scripture is Psalm 51:9-11; she was also a graduate and licensed minister through Full Gospel Bible Institute, Class of 2004. Paulette always dreamed of having a large family and through marriage and blended families her wish came true, she leaves to mourn her loss but cherish her memories a son Lanse Jackson, 10 grandchildren Lance Whitehead, Tyre Duncan, Donovan Pritchard, Montress Jackson, LaTavia B’Williams, Catiesha Fells, Camera Fells, Careena Fells, Jared Jones and Christopher Fells; 10 great grandchildren, several Godchildren, a sister in love Laura Wilson, two daughters in love Catreena Fells-Jackson and Pastor Stephanie Pritchard, her church family and a host of friends. In addition to her mother, and 2 children, Paulette was preceded in death by a sister in love Adell Ford. The family of Paulette Pritchard would like to say thank you to the Nursing Staff of Colonial Manor for their patience and care shown toward Miss P.
