Co worker and friend

I was honored to have worked with Mary in the school office at Longswamp Elementary School from 1993-1999.  Even though we were co-workers, we grew very close as friends.  We shared the same birthday so that made our friendship more special.  Even after her retirement in 1999, we would get together several times a year.  We would call Mary "our local historian" as she had the extraordinary capability of remembering names, dates, events, etc.  We could always count on Mary to remember things.  Mary was the most caring lady I know who loved her late husband, Bobby, her son and grandsons and was devoted to them.  I will miss you Mary, but I take comfort knowing that you are holding the hands of our God.

Many great times together

Mary was the mother of one of my very best friends when I was growing up, Craig and I and our families were together often with memories too numerous to mention! She was without a doubt one of the sweetest, kindest people I have ever met. To Craig and his family, my sincere condolences to you. May peace and solace comfort you at this time.
