The Life of Angelina F Hannan

Angelina “Angie” Frances (nee Randazzo) Hannan passed peacefully on Monday, November 9, 2020 at the age of 95.

Devoted wife of the late Alvin B. Hannan of Al’s Rainbow Sporting Goods.  Angelina worked in the business while simultaneously raising five children.  Anyone who frequented the store would smell the aroma of Angelina’s cooking wafting from the kitchen in the back of the store.  Family and friends always knew they had a seat at the lunch or dinner table.  No one left Angie’s kitchen hungry.  Angie loved to have family dinners and enjoyed nothing more than any occasion surrounded by loved ones.

Beloved mother of Alvin (Joann) Hannan, Denise (Bruce) Coleman, Debra (Michael) Mancano, Jay Hannan, and the late Patricia (Richard) Batchelet.

Beloved grandmother of 9 grandchildren: Suzanne Snyder, Andrew Batchelet, Douglas Batchelet, Candace Coleman, Bryan Coleman, Kristen Mancano, Michael Mancano, JP Hannan, and Kaila Hannan; plus 9 great grandchildren Matthew Snyder, Annie Snyder, Samuel Snyder, Luke Batchelet, James Batchelet, Margaret Batchelet, Hannah Batchelet, Julia Rose Batchelet, and Greyson Martino.

Angie is survived by her sister Gloria and husband Jim Tindell and is predeceased by 11 brothers and sisters.

My Godmother

We would visit Angie, Alvin, Pattie and the youngsters often in the 50s and 60s.  When Angie and Al opened Al's Rainbow, my mom and dad was opening Al's Luncheonette at 18th and Snyder and visits unfortunately, decreased by us and them due to workload.

Angie and Al were always so nice and Pattie was my friend.

I still  recall Angie's wonderful dinners that I would devour.  They took up most of the huge table!  When customers came to shop, they would gleefully comment on the aromas.

Until we meet again my Godmother!

Yours, Little Al
