The Life of Helen E Pomeroy

Helen E. (nee Soha) Pomeroy, 96, of Havertown, PA, died July 9, 2020 at Vitas Hospice at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.

Born and raised in Clifton Heights, she was a graduate of Clifton Heights High School class of '42. Helen worked as a Machine operator at the Phila. Chewing Gum Corp. for over 30 years.

She was a member of St. Denis Church. Helen enjoyed spending time with her family at their riverfront summer home in Pennsville NJ. They spent hours boating, fishing and crabbing. Helen was also an avid gardener. Traveling worldwide and cruises with family were among her past times.

Breakfast  at Perkins or the Manoa Deli kept her connected with friends. She will best be remembered as a loving wife, mom and grandmom.

She was the beloved wife of the late William H. Pomeroy. Survivors: include her children, Mary Ann Glocker, Helen Smith, May DeGeorge; William H. Pomeroy, Jr., Joseph Pomeroy; 7 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren

 Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 11:00 am at St. Denis Church

Visitation: Tuesday, July 14, 2020, 10:00 am

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
