The Life of Mary Maude Begnaud
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at 10:00 AM in La Chapelle de Martin & Castille in Lafayette for Mary Maude Begnaud, age 71, who passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital.
The family will receive visitors at Martin & Castille’s DOWNTOWN
location on Tuesday from 8:30 AM until the time of the service. Deacon Cody Miller will officiate the service.
Interment will follow at Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.
Mary is survived by her siblings (and their spouses), Bennett Begnaud (Nell), Noemi Bowden, Barbara Bourque, and Don Begnaud (Joan), and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fernand and Ethel Comeaux Begnaud; and her siblings, Claude Begnaud and Regina Benoit.
Mary was retired having worked as a social worker for the State of Louisiana at the Lafayette Food Stamp office.
The Begnaud family extends a heartfelt appreciation to the staff of St. Martin de Porres Nursing Home in Lake Charles for the care and support they gave to their sister Mary during her time of need.
