Mr. Richard C. Lawrence, 93, of Hartwell, Georgia, formerly of Spring Grove, passed away Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at his home. He was the husband of the late Sondra Riddick. Born on April 10, 1926 in Dallastown, he was the son of the late Hellen Tarbert. Mr. Lawrence was a retired salesman for Montgomery Ward Department Store and a member of the Mt. Olivet Baptist Church. He was also a member of the American Legion Post #945, and he was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Navy. Mr. Lawrence is survived by his son: Ron Lawrence (Pat) of Hartwell; a daughter: Sandra Clark of Florida; son-in-law: Jack Codori of Tennessee; eleven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and sixteen great-great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Christinia Codori. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
