Joseph T., age 95 of Raleigh, NC, and formerly of Drexel Hill, PA, passed on March 3, 2020.
Joe grew up in West Philadelphia, attending West Catholic High School. He was drafted into the Army and served during WWII. Upon his return, Joe completed a Bachelor's degree at La Salle University. He was employed by the Progressive Electric Contracting Company for over 40 years.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife Marie N. (nee Bucci), to whom he was married for 63 years. A devoted father, Joe is survived by his loving daughter Mary Jo Unruh (Mark); his 3 grandchildren, Jaime Sanderson (Cory), Ashley Gilmore (Robert) and Kyle Unruh; and 5 great-grandchildren, Cole, Rylan, Logan, and Lyndon.
Joe was an incredible grandfather and great-grandfather, lovingly called Poppy.
