The Life of William R. Richart

William (Bill) R. Richart passed away suddenly on Saturday, February 15, 2020 at the young age of 44.  He was born on October 30, 1975 in Williamsport, Pennsylvania.

Bill was the devoted husband of Eleftheria (Loula) Richart, and the loving father of Vanessa (7) and Leonidas (3).  He is survived by his parents, Carl Richart and Nancy M. (Shollenberger) Richart of Muncy, PA.  He is also survived by his four sisters Michelle (wife of Shaun Smith and mother to Michael S. and Jacob M.), Melissa (wife of Timothy Panaski and mother to Olivia K., Andrew T. and Derek J.), Maria (wife of Alex Chaudhry and mother to Marcus A. and Madison A.) and Elizabeth (wife of Michael Miller) as well as his uncle Stanley (Chuck Rine) Richart, father and mother in-law Christos Papatolios and Stella (Papagiannis) Papatolios and brother in-law Ted Papatolios.

Growing up in Muncy PA, his passion for sports started at a young age with his love of baseball and having the little league World Series nearby.  Bill graduated from Muncy High School in 1994 and enlisted and served in the Army National Guard. He continued on to obtain an Associate’s Degree in Accounting and was employed by Volpe Tile and Marble where he met his wife, Loula.  He spent the last 8 years as a dedicated employee at ServPro of Society Hill.

Bill was an avid outdoorsman and family man and frequently visited the family’s cabin in Sullivan County. He kept young at heart with his “big boy” toys from riding his 4-wheeler and exploring the woods.  He eagerly awaited for the next family adventure with his wife and two kids, from playing in the sand at the beach, family walks at the zoo and holidays at Longwood Gardens but most of all he enjoyed spending time at his home with his wife and two children. Bill was known as everyone’s favorite “uncle” and it was not unusual to find him on the floor rough-housing with the boys or playing dolls with the girls.  Bill was also a passionate Philadelphia sports fan and supported the Premier Soccer League every morning on the weekends with his cup of coffee until his kids took over with morning cartoons.

He always wore his kind nature on his face with a smile. He was the son you wanted to have, the husband and dad one aspires to be and the brother/friend you always want by your side.

He would always question with love and his humor “what am I going to do with you… Love us forever of course!!!”  We love you to the moon and back with all our hearts… forever.

Interment will then take place at Arlington Cemetery where Bill will be honored with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Family’s Go Fund Me page to benefit Bill’s children, Vanessa and Leonidas. Please see link in the donation section below. Little Ones in Distress Go Fund Me
