Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, February 3, 2020, in Lafayette Memorial Park for Carrie Eve Trahan, 91, who passed away on January 24, 2020.

Pastor Glen Harrison will conduct the graveside services.

Burial will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Trahan, a resident of Kaplan, was the daughter of the late Marshal Trahan and the former Lydia Buford.

She is survived by daughter, Jane Trahan Stelly (Mike); daughter, Wanita Trahan Bertrand (Ronald); son, Ronald J. Trahan; son, Donald D. Trahan (Annie); daughter, Jackie Trahan Monceaux (Kenneth); son, P. Ezra Trahan; son, M. Albert Trahan (Maria); son, Marcus H. Trahan (Jackie); and daughter, Karen Trahan Vice (Joe).

She was preceded in death by her husband of over 60 years, Purphey J. Trahan; daughter, Patricia Trahan Viator (Terry); her parents, Marshal and Lydia Trahan; and daughter-in-law, Evelyn Trahan (Ronald).

The family requests that anyone wishing to attend please gather with them at Lafayette Memorial Park.

Pallbearers will be determined at a later date.
