The Life of Ruth E. Richter

Ruth E. (nee Cline ) Richter, 101, of Philadelphia, PA, died January 20, 2020 at Immaculate Mary Center.

Born and raised in West Newton, PA she had was a longtime resident of  Philadelphia; most recently in the Northeast and previously in SW Phila.  A woman of strong faith, she read and knew her Bible.

An accomplished musician, she played both piano and organ. Ruth was a hand-sewer or seamstress working in the clothing industry. She also used that talent as she enjoyed knitting, sewing and other hand-work.

Ruth  could tell a good story, read romance novels and loved cooking for family and friends

She was the beloved wife of the late Adolf Josef Richter. Survivors: include her Daughters, Donna Mae Matthews and Ruth Ann Sciubba, 8 grand and 5 great-grandchildren She was the mother of the late Rose Ann Hirth.

Service: Funeral Service will be 11am, Friday, January 24, 2020 at Toppitzer Funeral Home at Arlington, ; Drexel Hill, , where friends may call after 10:00 am.

Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026
