The Life of Mrs. Sarah "Sally" Frazier

Sally T. Frazier, formerly of Southport, Connecticut and Naples, Florida, died peacefully at the Ludlowe Center for Health and Rehabilitation in Fairfield. She was 91.

Born Sarah Theresa Devlin, she was the second of eight children of Daniel Devlin and RoseAnn (McGonigle) Devlin of Boston.

She was preceded in death by all but one of her siblings and by her husband of 40 years, Donald A. Frazier, who died in 1991.

She is survived by her youngest brother, Robert Gerard Devlin of Sudbury, Massachusetts; by her three children, Stephen Mark Frazier of Atlanta, Georgia; Donna Frazier Shea of Leawood, Kansas; and Richard Alan Frazier of Trumbull, Connecticut; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Devotion to family was the most significant feature of her life. She created serene and loving homes across four states in succession, and traveled globally in support of her husband’s corporate career. Her later life was marked by pride in the character of her grandchildren and wonder at the beauty of her infant and toddler great-grandchildren.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday January 6, 2020, at St. Luke Roman Catholic Church in Westport.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be sent in her memory either to the Fisher Center for Alzheimer’s Research Foundation at alzinfo.org; or the Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service at 50 Jesup Road, Westport, Connecticut 06880.

The Harding Funeral Home in Westport is assisting her family with arrangements.
