Thoughts on Father's Day - 2020

"For it is true we can seldom help those closest to us. Either we don't know what part of ourselves to give or, more often than not, the part we have to give is not wanted. And so it those we live with and should know who elude us. But we can still love them - we can love completely without complete understanding." - "A River Runs Throught It " , movie, Oct 9, 1992

Remembering a very close friend

Extremely sorry to learn of the passing of my best friend from junior high thru high school and early college!...it has been many years since those days and, as life would have it, we lost touch for various and sundry reasons...I received a surprise phone call from Harry about 2-3 years ago and we talked for hours and catching up...he had just sold his home in Malvern and was planning to move back to Michigan...he told me that he would forward his new phone # as soon as he was situated and we would continue to "catch up"....sadly I never heard from him again..we shared a love of cars, and music...many good times together....those were the days!....my condolences to his entire family and especially to his brothers
