Best Neighbor EVER
When we moved to Kutztown in 1985, one of the first people I met was my neighbor, Evelyn Adams. She was the best neighbor we ever had. We traded vegtables from our gardens, walked to Bourough meetings together, and talked often. She educated me about Kutztown history. We kept an eye on each other's homes when we traveled and she loved my cats, or most of them. ( One she called a SOB.) That was Evelyn. fun and willing to travel. One of my best memories of her and Paul was them walking home from a Bieber Bus day trip, wearing fun hats and carrying treasues from their trip. She was young at heart.
my dear neighbor
Evelyn was a great neighbor! she loved her pet cat Joshy and even loved and FED my cat Abby. I was just a college girl when I moved into 458 and she taught me things about how to be a couteous neighbor. I'll never forget her saying "you must bring up your trash can Wendy" I remmebr I picked her green beans for her when she had surgery. Good memories
