The Life of ALICE ELSIE ALLEN

Alice E. Allen, 96, passed away November 7, 2019, at Sunny View Care Center in Ankeny. She was born on March 17, 1923, in Norwalk, Iowa, to parents Louis and Etta Smith.

Alice is survived by her sons, Steve (Connie) Allen and Michael (Laura) Allen; grandchildren, Melinda Seeman, Steve (Michelle) Allen Jr., Melissa Michel, Nathan (Suzie) Allen, and Kimberly (John) Kendall; 10 great-grandchildren, as well as other loving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents, and grandsons-in-law, Jacob Seeman and Dennis Michel.

The family will greet friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at Hamilton’s near Highland Memory Gardens, 121 NW 60th Ave. in Des Moines with a funeral service starting at 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Highland Memory Gardens Cemetery.
