The Life of Joan DiJoseph

Joan (nee Kolsun) DiJoseph, 83, of Drexel Hill, PA, died October 26, 2019 at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Born and raised in NE Philadelphia, Joan was a longtime resident of Drexel Hill and member of St Bernadette of Lourdes Parish. A graduate of Lincoln High School, class of 55, she was a homemaker who took great pride in her garden and home decorating; she also enjoyed shopping and travel.

Most important was family; her role as caring wife, mom and nanny, she loved to cook and care for them all, even as her own health declined. 

Survivors: include her husband of 62 years, Robert R; daughters, Karen (Jack) Gelsomini, Diane (Mike) Nazzario;  sisters, Dorothy Henrich,  Margie (Ed) McDermott and  5 grandchildren: John, Jessica, Michael, Ashley and Matthew.

Funeral Mass will be 10:30 am, Thursday, October 31, 2019 at St. Bernadette of Lourdes Church, 1035 Turner Ave; Drexel Hill, 19026, where friends may call after 9:30 am.

Interment: SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, 1600 S. Sproul Rd, Springfield, PA. 19064
