The Life of Mr. Phillip Pheng Kane

Phillip Pheng Kane , age 62, most recently of Bridgeport passed away into the Peaceful Rest on August 31, 2019, in Cambodia. Phillip was born in Cambodia but had resided in the United States for many years. He continued to return to Cambodia as he always searched to do whatever he could with the goal of providing the best for his family and extended family included. There was nobody within his reach that would not feel welcomed, that he would not personally invest a high level of concern for their well being and best desires for their future. Phillip had a contagious personality which would connect with whomever he came across regardless of who they were, where they were from and every walk of life. There was just a way of his being that would forever be appreciated and forever be remembered. He was an extremely hard worker, one that was relentless in whatever he would focus on simply to provide for his family and again, extended family alike. The memories of his commitment, care, attention, love, and perseverance exceed the levels anyone could comprehend as a son, father, spouse, brother and friend.

Phillip leaves to cherish his memory his sons Byran L. Kane, Kevin, L. Kane, and Kenny L. Kane; His daughters, Madilyn Lily Kane, Carol Kheng and Caren Kheng; his siblings, Heng C. Kang, Nay Kim Kang, Seang C. Kang, Heang C. Kang, Mong S. Kange, Ty C. Kang and Pau C Kang; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends whom will sorely miss him and cherish his memory for a lifetime.

Friends are invited to attend calling hours at the Funeraria Luz de Paz (Peaceful Light Funeral Home), 426 E. Washington Avenue, Bridgeport, CT on Friday, September 13, 2019 from 5-8 P.M.

Final viewing has been scheduled for Saturday, September 14, 2019, beginning at 9:00 A.M. Followed by a Funeral Service at 9:30 A.M. Soon thereafter burial will take place in Oaklawn Cemetery, Fairfield, CT.
