The Life of Mrs. Anna K. Ashman
Anna Kathryn Ashman, 82, of Chambersburg passed away on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born December 20, 1936 in Mount Union, the daughter of the late Calvin Walter and Helen F. (Volpino) Secrest. She was a member of the American Legion in York. Anna enjoyed a quiet life and spent her time with family and beloved animals. She is survived by her children: Velma Christman, Calvin Ashman, Patrick Ashman, Patricia Stumbaugh, Edwin Ashman; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren; a sister, Vickie Secrest and niece, Jessica Moffitt.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin Ashman and a brother, Orie Peterson. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 18 at 1 PM in Greenmount Cemetery, York PA.
