The Life of Mildred G Noecker

Mildred G. Noecker 92 of Schuylkill Haven passed away Friday while a resident of Rosewood Nursing Home.

Born May 7, 1926 in Schuylkill Haven she was the daughter of the late George and Alretta Laubach Foose.

Mildred was a graduate from Schuylkill Haven High School in 1944. She was a longtime employee of Argo Mills and retired from Poly Flo in St. Clair.

She was a member of Jerusalem Lutheran Church, Schuylkill Haven.

Mildred was a wife and widow to the late Frank W. Noecker who passed away on May 1, 2013. Frank and Mildred were married on January 18, 1948; together they celebrated 65 years of marriage, she passed on what would have been their 71st anniversary. Mildred was a loving and very devoted wife to her husband during his long illness. She was also a collector of angels.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was predeceased by her loving son-in-law Gary Post who passed away August 6, 2009. She was also predeceased by brothers Milford Foose of Schuylkill Haven and Charles Foose of Reading and sisters Catherine Weiser of Schuylkill Haven and May Staller of Summit Station.

Mildred is survived by her children, Frank Noecker, husband of Judy, Carol Post, Charles Noecker husband of Christine, and George Noecker husband of Tammy all of Schuylkill Haven. She is also survived by sisters, Florence Moyer of Schuylkill Haven, and Shirley Baker of Bethel along with grandchildren, Steven, Eric, Rachael, Lisa, Lori, Taunia, Ashley, and Tanner and great grandchildren Paige, Bryce, and Kyrsten.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Grabowski Funeral Home off Route 61 in Schuylkill Haven. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend David Rowe officiating. Interment will follow on the grounds of Schuylkill Memorial Park, Schuylkill Haven. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Mildred’s name to music activities at Rosewood Nursing Home, 401 University Drive, Schuylkill Haven, PA 17972.
