The Life of Thomas J. Ryan

Thomas J. Ryan, age 76 years; of Upper Darby, PA. Suddenly passed away on December 23, 2018. He is the beloved husband of Marion (nee McColl) Ryan. He is the loving father of Donna T. (Rob) Ralston, and Thomas M. Ryan. Tom is the devoted brother of Barbara (Thomas) O’Hanlon, Debbie (Andrew) Duris, Robert (Jane) Ryan, Gerald (Charlene) Ryan, and the late William Ryan, Lawrence (Margaret) Ryan, and John Ryan. Tom is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and he will be greatly missed by many friends he has made over the years.

Tom was born on October 29, 1942 to William and Frances (nee Brennan) Ryan, Sr. He is a graduate of Lower Merion High School in Ardmore, PA. Tom ran his own vending company through the Pennsylvania Blind Association. He would tend to his many vending machines in various locations throughout the area. Most recently he was at the main United States Post Office Hub in Southwest Philadelphia.

Relatives and Friends are invited to his viewing Friday, December 28, 2018, from 9:30 am to 10:50 am and to his Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:00 am, both in St. Dennis Church 2401 St. Denis Lane Havertown, PA 19083.

The interment will follow immediately after Mass in Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, PA.
