The Life of Vivian V. Keppley
Vivian V. (Reed) Keppley, 92, of Hopkinsville, KY, formerly of Fleetwood, died Monday, December 10, 2018, in Morningside of Hopkinsville, Hopkinsville, KY. She was the widow of Howard F. Keppley, who died May 1, 1976. Born in Lyon Station, she was a daughter of the late Frank H. and Florence M. (Reppert) Reed. Vivian was a member of Grace Evangelical Congregational Church, Kutztown, and attended Saint John's United Methodist Church, Hopkinsville. Vivian was a graduate of Kutztown Area High School, Kutztown. She was employed as a receptionist for over 20 years for East Penn Manufacturing Company, Lyon Station, until her retirement in 1996. Vivian was a member of Lyons Fire Company, Lyon Station.
Vivian is survived by a daughter, Janine Reed, Hopkinsville, KY; and a son, David F. Reed, Fleetwood. Other survivors include six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Vivian was predeceased by a sister, Clarabelle (Reed) Henry and brothers, Charles D. Reed, Dalton S. Reed, Grant A. Reed, Mark K. Reed and Dallas F. Reed.
The family will host a graveside service at Lyons Cemetery on Sunday, December 30, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Adam P. Roberts, officiating. There are no calling hours.
The family requests contributions be made to Max's Hope Pet Rescue, 710 N. Main Street, Hopkinsville, KY 42240; or Pennyroyal Hospice, 220 Burley Avenue, Hopkinsville, KY 42240.
