The Life of Doris M. Sinclair

Doris (nee Mitchell) Sinclair, 97, of West Brandywine, formerly of Springfield PA, died November 13, 2018 at the Gardens at Freedom Village West Brandywine.

Born in Easton, MD, raised in Phila., after 54 years in Springfield, she moved to Freedom Village following the death of her husband in 2007.   A graduate of  West Chester State Teacher's College,  she had been employed as a Kindergarten Teacher by the Upper Darby School District for 31 years before retiring in 1980. Throughout her career, she taught at most of the schools in the district.

She was a long and faithful member of Covenant Methodist Church in Springfield. Doris enjoyed golf and boating on the Chesapeake.  A pianist, she shared that talent in her classroom, and it gave her personal fulfillment as well. Doris enjoyed traveling but her most favored time in recent years was spent with family as a loving wife, mother and especially as grandmother.

She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A., Jr. and mother of the late Robert A., III. Survivors: include her children Scott (Linda) Sinclair and Janis (Jack) Huston, 4 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren,

Service: Memorial Service was held at the Toppitzer Funeral Home, Drexel Hill, Interment: Arlington Cemetery, Drexel Hill, PA 19026

Contributions: in her memory to Covenant Church, or the Scholarship fund at Freedom Village, at the addresses listed below would be preferred
