The Life of Linda D "Friggy" Subramanian

Linda “Friggy” Denise Subramanian was called home to her Lord Saturday, October 7th 2017. She was a beloved wife, mother, auntie, sister-in-law and friend that made the world a better place with her warmth, compassion, intelligence and generosity. She was thrilled to have recently celebrated her 50th year high school reunion for Pottsville High class of ’67 and was a graduate of Pottsville Hospital Nursing Program. She was an RN for over 20 years and her career included opening Crozer Burn Center and being a founding member of the NASA Space Nursing Society. She loved to travel and trotted this globe (while making friends all along the way) with her best friend and husband, Sada. Linda’s true legacy though, was her ‘Ministry of Kindness’, which brought joy and comfort to hundreds of people throughout the world via her beautiful, personal cards and correspondence. She was well known to never miss a birthday, graduation, life event, anniversary or holiday. She always made a point to make a connection with people and she always left an impression. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Sada, her children Frank and Janaki, and a plethora of extended family including in-laws, cousins, nieces, nephews, godchildren and lifelong friends. Over the years Linda has always been active in her church and donated to many charitable organizations, so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her memory to St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church or a charity close to your heart.
