The Life of Elsa Killingstad Davis

Elsa Killingstad Davis, age 93, passed away peacefully on Aug. 3, 2018 in Houston. She was born on Aug. 2, 1925 in Baltimore to Ralph and Marie Killingstad. She will be fondly remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, a talented artist, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church where she sang in the choir.

She is preceded in death by her mother and father, her Sister, Mathilde Killingstad, and her husband, Charles Davis.

She is survived by her children, Elsa Marie Sunde, Katherine Oliveira, Erik Sunde (Bindu Jose), and Brita Sunde; her step-children, William Davis (Lynda) and Linda Haden; her grandchildren, Adrienne Oliveira, Rene Oliveira, Jr. (Heidy), Maria Delgado, and Samara Sunde; her step-grandchildren, Elizabeth Davis (Julian Altschul), Amanda Pak (Han), Nathan Davis (Laura), Rita Haden, Tony Haden (Kristin), and Vega Shah; her great-grandchild, Elanor Oliveira; numerous step great-grandchildren; and many relatives in Norway and Baltimore.

A private memorial service will be held with interment in Alexandria, Virginia. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital and Shriners Hospitals for Children.
