The Life of Pearl Welsh

Obituary - Pearl (nee Cohen) Welsh, 89, of Springfield, PA, died September 24, 2018 at Little Flower Manor.

Born in Paris and raised in England, she came to the U.S. as a war bride. Pearl had been employed as a beautician in Broomall before her retirement.

A woman with a strong work ethic, she was outgoing and generous with both her time and treasure. An old movie and TV buff, she especially liked murder mysteries and musicals. Pearl knitted and crocheted in her free time and was a great cook, blending her French heritage along with her specialty Yorkshire Pudding that was part of her English experience.

She was referred to as the Queen, her manners, sense of style and behavior was impeccable. With shoes, gloves, hat and purse to match, she endeavored to pass along those traits to the next generations of her family. She was the beloved wife of the late David Welsh and mother of the late Derrick Muller.

Survivors: include her daughter, Denise (Jim) O'Hagan, Grandchildren, Jessica Muller, Derrick Muller , Jr., and James O'Hagan, Great-Grandchildren, Searra, Vanessa & Derrick Muller, III.

Service: Graveside Service will be 11am Friday, September 28, 2018 at Arlington Cemetery, 2900 State Road; Drexel Hill, 19026.
